Workplace 2022 Spotlight on the ageing workforce

With those aged 50 years and over making up an increasing proportion of the workforce in the UK, the question of how we deal with an ageing workforce is critical. at this session we explored how to encourage an age-diverse workplace which allows for experience and wisdom as well as a youthful energy.

We examined the impact of ‘the great retirement’, how menopause needs to be factored in and how do we ensure we make positive use of the full range and wealth of knowledge and experience within our workforce.

For this session we were joined by Jacqueline Jardine-White, who speaks regularly on managing menopause and Jo Lee, a passionate advocate of maturity in the workplace. As always as our invited guests, they have a particular interest in this topic and will be sharing their perspectives and ideas.

A fascinating conversation as together we considered are we doing enough to address the benefits and challenges of the ageing workforce?
